In 2009 Johannes started twisting copper wire in his garage in the U.S. His Father suggested he go visit their family friend who owned his own jewelry shop. After visiting John Strok at his shop, Kenmore Jewlry Box, The desire to make jewelry he had long appreciated was lit. In 2014 Johannes started publicly going by the name Bezalel as he started his Facebook page Bezalel Fine Jewelry. In 2015 Johannes moved to Finland to study goldsmithing at the Tyrvää Craft and Design Institute. After becoming a journeyman Johannes interned with multiple goldsmiths to study their techniques. In 2026 Johannes started his own company. His goal is to make quality jewelry filled with beaning and beauty and bring back the beautiful innovations of the past and discover the possibilities of the future.
